The elderly and physically disabled could benefit most from the companionship of a calm mature dog.  But due to physical limitations, they may not be able to provide the care necessary to adequately care for a pet.  Meanwhile, perfectly suitable senior dogs are the last to be adopted due to their age and health care needs. 

 

The Resting Hamlet is a non-profit charity that uses donations to pay for in-home pet care assistance services and to help facilitate senior dog adoptions.  We are dedicated to ensuring that the maximum amount of all donations are spent on our beneficiaries.  And we do this through efficient organization, practical approaches, and transparent accounting practices.  Coming soon, our  business accounting records will be posted regularly on this website so you can see how and on what your donations are spent.
